Cameron Rider

Cameron brings more than 30 years’ experience to clients in his role as a Special Counsel at Greenwoods & Herbert Smith Freehills. He specialises in corporate and international tax advice, audits, litigation and rulings.

Cameron's clients include leading organisations in the resources and financial services sectors, who benefit from his tax expertise on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and transfer pricing. 

Over the course of his career, Cameron has worked at top tier law and accountancy firms and was a professor and director of taxation studies in the Law School at University of Melbourne. 

Cameron is a Fellow of The Tax Institute and a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, Law Council of Australia and the Australian Branch of the International Fiscal Association. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Melbourne, and is admitted as a barrister and solicitor in Victoria.
