- More than 80% of Asian-Australians experience discrimination according to a new study by ANU
- Asian-Australians make up 12% of Australian’s population, but only 3.1% are in C-Suite roles says the Australian Racial Discrimination Commissioner
- Most common barrier cited by Asian-Australians themselves were the “stereotypes associated with Asians”.
Greenwoods is committed to working towards increasing its number of culturally diverse leaders by cultivating culturally diverse talent and providing equal opportunities and support to all of our people.
“It’s a great honour to be recognised along with so many high calibre Asian-Australian leaders. Personally it is important to me to promote cultural diversity in Australia not only because it makes business sense given the rise of Asia. As a culturally diverse leader who has faced challenges in my own career, I am determined to see more Asian Australians advance to leadership positions and Australian organisations fully utilising the talent and skills of Asian-Australians” Sue Ann Khoo said.
